Love Poems & Personal Thoughts

This book of Love Poems are of the poems that I have written over the years. I write about the women I have known, women I have seen and been compelled to write poems. Included are poems to family members the loved ones in my life. There is nothing more beautiful than the love between a man and a woman. The love one has for parents, children and grandchildren. Without the love of a good woman, a man can never be the man that he can be. The same goes for a woman without the love of a good man she will never be the woman she can be. Without the love and care of parents we would be lost. Our children cause us to realize what our parents went through raising us and how much love and patience it takes. Our grandchildren are the joys of our life's they can do no wrong. We spoil them like we never did with our own children, then let their parents try to undo the spoiling the grandparents did. At the end of the poems, I included some personal thoughts on men, women, family and relationships. I hope you enjoy these few poems. It is funny that word love. You can love your dog, cat, house, car or money. However, that house, car and money is only a material thing that one could lose rather quickly. The love you feel for a pet is not nearly on the same level, as you would feel for another human. There are those that would say I love my pet more than any human that I have met. Then I feel sorry for you that you have not met or allowed yourself the feeling of true deep down in your soul love that only another human can bring. The true love of another person's warm touch. Missing that special person when they are not with you remembering their smell and laughter the little things they do to make you feel special. That is the type of love I am speaking of trusting, protecting and not wanting to hurt that person. Believe In Me Late at night you lie awake An hold your pillow tight As the feelings gets to hard to fight Have no worry I will be there tomorrow All I ask is that you believe in me I will be around for all to see Some men never try to satisfy They are just trying to get by I will consider your feelings and show you complete affection I will let you know you are a work of perfection I want to touch your body as well as your mind I promise I will be kind All I ask is that you believe in me
