The Mortician's Widow and the Turncoat Princess

Things are about to get exciting as the princess shares some shocking news everyone is having trouble coming to terms with. The relatively peaceful rebel resolution has not sat well with the kingdom, or some rebels for that matter, and consequences are sure to follow. Nobody could have predicted the turn of events such as this though. Leaders of Fallout and Wellspring have been visited personally by the king, captured, and held prisoner. A daring rescue mission is put into place with a rough joining of resources within the rebel community. There is a concern of who should be involved and to what degree, but one thing is certain, The Mortician's Widow has one of the only ins available. She seems to be the lone individual immune to the games the princess likes to play, and therefore the only adversary worth her time. Being so close to the king is tempting, but a friend pulls the ground out from underneath her feet at the very last second. Calling into question past loyalties it is unclear if she'll have another shot at the king or if all her hard work and the rebel sacrifices have been in vain?
