The Church of Jesus Christ: Understanding the Body of Christ

The Church is the Body of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ is her Head. The Church compromises those who have been born again, by their Acceptance of Jesus Christ, and joined to the Family of God. The Church has been given power and authority over the devil and his works. And the Lord says, "I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." Therefore, the Church is marching on, the gates of Hades (or Hell) shall not prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ! The Church is victorious and triumphant in Christ Jesus. We have been authorized and empowered over the devil and his works. We have the Holy Spirit of the Living God in and upon us. God the Father is for us, and our Lord Jesus Christ is with us. Angels of God minister for us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper or prevail; and any tongue that rises against us in judgment shall be condemned. We are not weaklers but a strong people!
