Godliness: When Men Live the Life of God

Godliness is living Godly (as God wants and directs). It is to exhibit the Life and Nature of God. Godliness is following the Word of God and His Spirit. It is the life of holiness, obedience, and righteousness. Going through the Scriptures, you will observe that it is possible for a Believer to think, speak, and act in an ungodly way. And God will punish ungodly living; therefore as Believers, we have to avoid unrighteousness, sin, hypocrisy, unbelief, and compromise. One major way to be Godly is to bear, in abundance, the Fruit of the Spirit, which is in all goodness, righteousness, and Truth. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. And if you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh.
