Miss-fortune

June is about to hit the big 4-0, and had been content with her life until she agrees to attend a school reunion. She is a haphazard character, who regularly forgets to filter her thoughts before they fall from her mouth in the form of words, much to the chagrin of those with whom she spends time. At the reunion, June meets some of the girls from school, and gradually begins to believe that she has not been as successful in her life as they have. At the end of a difficult evening, trying to recall memories the girls wished to share with her, and being severely under the influence of far too much alcohol, June invites the girls to her upcoming fortieth birthday bash. The party is a testing time for her, as she had not divulged the full truth of her life and she juggles home life, work life and 'make believe' life in her usual, arbitrary way. The road on which June travels thereafter is an interesting one, and is a journey of self-discovery.
