God-Whacked!

What does Christianity have in common with La Cosa Nostra or ... our thing? Most would dare say absolutely nothing. Well yes, some wise guys like to pose as saints by putting up a fa?ade of religious forms and rituals to cloak their true natures. However, such crass hypocrisy aside, the two are as different as night and day. Light and dark can't coexist. But I learned the hard way that there is at least one bedrock principle shared vehemently by both. Christ put it this way in Matthew 12:30, "He that is not with me is against me." Jesus goes on to say in Revelation 3:16 that if we're lukewarm toward Him, He "will spew us out of His mouth." Likewise, the mob is notoriously demanding when it comes to loyalty. Anyone who breaks their oath must pay the ultimate price. Nicky "The Face" Campisi faces an impossible dilemma when he is brought to true saving faith. How can he continue on as a mafia enforcer and hit man as a disciple of Jesus Christ? The only way to leave the life is to forfeit his life.
