Fly Unzipped: A Fly Moscone Mystery

"Hilarious and dead serious" is how one reviewer describes FLY UNZIPPED. Volunteer deputy sheriff Paul "Fly" Moscone just wants relief from an aching back, but when he's offered much more at a local massage parlor, he can't look the other way. Fly is compelled to attempt the rescue of the masseuse, a Cincinnati high school girl who's been kidnapped and sold into sex slavery. This Florida mystery ricochets between Fly's efforts to identify and capture the pimp who's running a major sex trafficking operation, crazy politics, environmental chicanery, and criminal destruction of a lawyer's collection of designer high heel shoes. Along the way, Fly and his buddy Mr. Jinx prove that retirement can be a lot more meaningful than just fishing and golfing while they're still trying to figure out what their wives really want. Readers will careen between laugh out loud moments and reaching for tissues as Fly goes undercover to get the job done. If you enjoy Carl Hiaasen, relate to Travis McGee, or appreciate the dramedy of M*A*S*H, Fly Unzipped is your kind of book.
