Beautiful, intellectual, and witty, young Leah Miller has all the makings of the perfect wife. All that is missing is an equally strong and successful mate to assist her on her journey of financial independence. As she struggles with the lies and infidelities of her current boyfriend Lawrence, she finally gets fed up, and by the advice of her best friend Karen, decides to start playing the field in hopes of landing that Mr. Right. But it is not exactly the happy ending she had imagined as she quickly realizes that although Charles may be everything she ever wanted, he's nothing she ever had; and before long her whole world takes an unexpected turn.
