Bible Study Enigmas, Volume I: Applying cultural anthropology to general biblical topics

Many modern Bible readers have wished they could have sat at the feet of Jesus and his apostles to hear their teachings first hand. But unless you grew up in that time and place, much of their teachings would still be difficult to understand. Traditional views of the Bible lack a cultural understanding which has ultimately caused its messages to be misinterpreted. With anthropological information that has become available in the last sixty years, a more accurate understanding of biblical times can be attained. This booklet introduces cultural solutions to well known biblical enigmas, or passages difficult to understand, and offers alternatives to traditional views.Written not for seminary students, this booklet is intended to benefit the average pew sitter.
