Blood on the Border

Frank Sabino joined the US Border Patrol for two reasons: to honor the death of a close friend and help slow the flow of drugs into the United States. The job's dangerous but has its unexpected rewards-few others can claim to have delivered a baby with a group of illegal immigrants.

Now someone is killing drug mules-young Mexican men who make the perilous run across the border to smuggle drugs. Frank has no love for drug mules, but he draws the line at murder.

It's possible rival drug cartels are responsible for the deaths, in which case Frank could find himself facing Carlos the Coyote, a ruthless Yaqui Indian who works for a large Sonorro cartel. It's just as possible local ranchers have decided to take the law into their own hands-vigilantism is a constant threat on the border, whether fueled by frustration or a misplaced sense of patriotism.
