At His Feet: A Guided Study Through the Gospel of John

Most people have preconceived ideas about what the Bible says, who Jesus is, and what He requires from His disciples. But how many people actually take the time to investigate these things? The Gospel of John makes it clear that our human minds tend to default to systems of religion and self-justification. Most people think the Bible is a handbook for how to work our way to God. The apostle John wrote his Gospel so "that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" (John 20:31). Come, sit at His feet with me. Jesus did not come to save the religious elite, or those who have the highest theological credentials. He came "to proclaim good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release the prisoners from darkness" (Isaiah 61:1). He came for sinners like you and me.
