The Beast of Biddersley Grange

Toby, Blossom, Shannon and Martin arrive at an old Victorian manor house to work on a Community Service Programme. When they sneak out into the grounds, they find that there is something very peculiar about the gardens and that nothing in Biddersley Grange is what it seems. The discovery of a Victorian diary, hidden for over a century, adds to the mystery. A strange slit-eyed creature sketched on a concealed recess within a wall, a fiery Victorian Evangelist with a peculiar musical obsession and a handbell with a dangerous secret are just a few of the mysteries the children encounter.None of them guess their Community Project will lead to a series of adventures involving a lost Egyptian temple, a band of Chinese warrior-monks and a Stone Age tribe with a meteorite that possesses special powers. These and other strange adventures ensnare them deeper and deeper in a dark and dangerous web of mystery which extends far across time and place - and will lead to death if they fail in their quest.
