A Life Filled With Love

Having nearly lost his life in a house fire two weeks before his second birthday, Jason suffered third degree burns on over fifty percent of his body. He went through countless surgeries all the way into his late teens. As with any physical deformation, he endured many stares from strangers, harsh words and the struggle to find and create himself in this harsh world. Through the many ups and downs, he endured with the help of his friends and family to become an inspirational to all. In 2015 Jason's mother lost her 14 month battle to pancreatic cancer. Years before her death though, Jason had asked her to write about her life as a mother of a burn survivor. She wrote an unbelievable story about her struggles, her pain and the love that came out of such a dramatic experience.
