Down Time

There comes a time in every believer's life when God hides us away for His use. God must prepare us for new seasons and purposes that He has for us. He must retool and reshape our lives into whatever He desires for us to be. Often times these seasons will cause us to be "down" and it seems as though no one cares about our lives or our purposes. We have to make sacrifices that are not always pleasurable and can even cause us a great deal of pain and disappointment. What do we do when the door of our life is closed and we are experiencing downtime while God is teaching us important life lessons that are necessary for the development of our gift and calling. How will we respond? Will we grow and mature so that God can use us more mightily for the next season that He has for our lives or will we give up and buckle under pressure. I want to inspire you to keep pressing until you become all that God has shaped you to be.
