What happened in 1809 in the village of Aldwine?

Morgan is off for another family vacation, this one chosen by her brother, Hayden.

Spending two weeks in a cabin at a Pioneer Village is not something she was hoping for. The fact that her nemesis and his family are sharing the cabin beside hers only makes it more unbearable.

That is until they learn that there is a curse placed upon the village - a curse that spans centuries.

The 'descendants' of the original families are asking for the help of Morgan and her friends to figure it out and end it.

They take on the challenge, but they have a deadline to solve the murders that have plagued the village and kept the curse alive. Morgan finds adversaries in the form of assorted characters, including a creepy old Indian woman who does magic.

But not everyone wants their help. Mr. Black is making it hard because he does not want the curse to end. If it does, then his secret comes out.
