We live in the days of highly advanced technology where people seek to rely on knowledge instead of God. Hearing of heaven should stir up believers to witness to friends and neighbors on earth who are not followers of Jesus Christ. Meditating on the glory of heaven and the frightening alternative should be one of the greatest incentives to evangelism there can be, and should serve to comfort true believers on earth who are weary and struggling or under persecution.
