Isn't it amazing that most people see the need to develop a business plan, in order to do well in business, and yet would never think of a similar structure to organize their own lives? If you would like to create a long-lasting and memorable life experience, you must collate all your interests, preferences, wishes, desires and needs into a life plan. This little book is a demonstration of how Dr. Benson N. Modie documented his own concerns about the status of modern human life (or what he calls the "Burning Platform"), and how he plans to play a role to contribute toward creating a better future for himself and the rest of humanity. In this book, which represents Dr. Modie's vision for the future, he shares with you how he was able to not just worry about his concerns in life, but instead developed a life plan (this document) to allow him to accomplish some of his desires for a better life. Although a personal document (previously compiled back in 2007) Dr. Modie decided to release his vision for the future with the aim to encourage others to learn, and hopefully inspire them to develop their own life plans. Commonly, people in general tend to look-up to governments and other world bodies charged with ensuring human welfare programmes, and often see themselves as being powerless to effect any meaningful changes in their own lives. By sharing his vision document, Dr. Modie hopes to demonstrate the ability that all people, in their individual levels, can strategize their lives and manage to meet some of their needs, without having to wait all the time for political decisions or other types of assistance from somewhere. In other words, there is always something that one can do, as an individual or a small entity, to contribute and add value to life, no matter how little or insignificant it might seem.
