The Ministry of Reconciliation

When Jesus cried, "It is finished!" our record was expunged and washed away by the cleansing power of His holy blood, as every account of our sinful deeds were nailed to His cross, the claims of justice were satisfied, CLEARING THE WAY for a brand new creation to take place. When Christ rose from the dead, we were raised with Him. He presented us faultless before the Father, holy, and righteous, for He became our righteousness! All that He accomplished was FOR US, so that we could be AS HE IS in this world! Now we are in Him and He is IN US as His miracle life is manifested in mortal flesh! All that is left for us to do is to "put on the new man which is created in righteousness and true holiness" (Eph. 4:22-24) and to believe what Christ believes. .. that we are who He says we are... that we can do what He says we can do... that we have what He says we have! When we receive His Holy Spirit in obedience to His command we receive the power to be His witnesses. (Acts 1:4-8) As we "acknowledge every good thing that is in us in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 1:3) we communicate our faith effectively, and our speech and our preaching is not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power! (I Cor.2:4-5) As we speak the word of God, people will follow our faith, considering the end of our conversation- Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever!
