Imagine opening your mailbox on Valentine's Day and discovering a package containing your true identity? It was a gift like no other. I was an orphan, adopted and raised in South Dakota. It is a story of being lost and found. Hope and faith echo within each chapter. For only heaven could have orchestrated such a beautiful message of unconditional love. This is where my story begins... I grew up learning how to navigate the ever changing tide of Irish Peggy's moods. It took skill. Without the indomitable and proud Peggy, I would have remained an orphan. It was Peggy who took me home and proudly held me as if she had just given birth. Peggy called me the fey child because serendipity shadowed me as well as mishap. Still, I longed for answers and set out to discover my personal geography. I had no idea what I would find, or who I would meet. I was only a broken branch of a family tree. As if taking me by the hand, my mothers guided the way. In some quiet place, I heard their voices and felt their presence. Their strength and strong faith proved every life holds meaning and every child is loved by God.
