A Thoroughly Christian Study of Homosexuality

A growing number of Christians, of all denominational stripes, have important questions about homosexuality that are mostly going unanswered in the ongoing church debate. Why would God create someone with same-sex attraction only to condemn them for it? Is poor parenting or spiritual rebellion really the reason why some people are gay or transgender? Is it Christ-like to shun and actively discriminate against gays in our communities? A Thoroughly Christian Study of Homosexuality presents a 360-degree view of the subject. In addition to being a detailed Bible study, it provides a wealth of other relevant information: the latest science of same-sex attraction; the persecution faced by gays around the world; the plight of gay young people in today's churches; the central theological dilemma of homosexuality. The goal of A Thoroughly Christian Study of Homosexuality is to encourage Christians to make an informed, Spirit-led decision about homosexuality. With thoughtful questions at the end of each chapter, it can be used for both individual and group study.
