Supernatural Health And Healing For Students

I've heard people say "It's God's will" or "I'll just leave it up to God" when faced with a serious illness or tragedy. Don't fall into that trap. God wants us to pray to him for help. In Luke 18:1 Jesus told his disciples that they should always pray and not give up. And then Jesus asked ...will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Theologians and religious men have debated this issue about healing for years. Some say Yes, others No. What does the Bible say? That is what counts! What I say or what other clergymen or theologians say carries no weight, especially if it conflicts with or disagrees with God's Word. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life. The Holy Scriptures has the final say about everything concerning life, death and eternity! Let me ask you a question: IS JESUS FOR TODAY? If He is for today, then the forgiveness of sins is for today and divine healing is also for today. If He is not for today, then we have believed in vain and the gospel is worthless! If Jesus Christ is real then divine healing is real. If He is a phony, a myth, a mirage or a liar then the Bible isn't worth the paper it's written on! Over 20 percent of the Gospel is about the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught his disciples how to pray and heal. He sent them to carry on His work. Wouldn't Jesus want His followers to pray for healing today? Many spiritual writers have defined the call of healing so narrowly that some people feel they don't qualify. But today a new awakening in faith has made us realize we are not only called into healing for ourselves, but also in various degrees into healing each other.
