A Heart Exposed: A Journey to Spiritual Maturity

This book delves into the issues of the heart that can surface through our trials as we journey into maturity in Christ. It is an open, honest look at our humanity as we progress to His divinity. We don't have to be ashamed of the feelings, emotions and attitudes because the Lord intends to heal, deliver and change us completely. Through writing this book, my relationship with the Lord is on a deeper heart level. I am more comfortable talking to him about what hurts, makes me angry, sad and anything else I go through. He already knows me completely and I am no longer trying to "hide" things and keep a religious facade for fear on losing his love. Thoughts are like words to Him so I might as well say them. Being able to tell him things I've never told anyone helps me to trust him more and deepen my love for him. He really is our wonderful Counselor, Friend, Lover of our souls, and Deliverer. He died to make us truly free and that means he is committed to setting us free from generational curses, destructive mindsets, self-limiting beliefs and the lies of the enemy. He is also teaching me to handle my emotions and that it is okay to feel things; but he's teaching me the appropriate expression. My prayer is that this peek into my personal journey will encourage you to embrace your Savior in a new and exciting way.
