Jack Travers, SIS agent is travelling through London to a meeting with his French and American colleagues when he becomes involved in a terrorist act outside Buckingham Palace. A jihadist fundamentalist is attempting to decapitate one of the sentries guarding the palace. Jack manages to dis-arm the terrorist and save the guardsman. From this encounter, an idea is formed. Jack, together with his old pal from the French Secret Service and Joe Merriman, CIA, hatch a plan to send a squad of Special Force soldiers deep into Isil (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant), territory in Iraq. Jack quickly recruits this Israeli intelligence officer to join his team.The abduction, and threatened be-heading on social networks, of a United States senator by a vicious war-lord, Abdullah Suleiman, sets Jack and his team their biggest task so far. How to locate, and rescue, the senator within the short time of twenty-four hours set by Suleiman and his caliph.
