This book is about Brody, the Goldendoodle. Brody goes on many fun adventures that introduce the young reader to travels across the country. The "Travels with Brody the Goldendoodle" series is written to both engage the young reader and introduce the young reader to interesting locations to visit across the United States. Our hope is that the young reader will learn to love Brody and traveling as much as we do. Brody was born in Lincoln California September 14, 2012. Brody was adopted November 1, 2012. Brody's mother was an apricot Standard Poodle and his father was a red Golden Retriever. His father loved to swim and chase balls. Those are also Brody's favorite activities. Brody was introduced to boating at 8 weeks old. He loves riding in the boat and runs down to the dock and jumps in the boat at any indication of a ride. Brody has a thick coat of hair and gets a short cut in the summer to stay cool. After playing ball on the lawn, Brody often jumps in the lake and wades in to chest deep water standing there several minutes cooling off. Brody takes a driving trip to Michigan every summer. On each trip he tries to find interesting places to visit and take pictures. Brody loves to pose. His owner and the author, Bob Baker, have undertaken this project of showing Brody's travels in a fun and educational way. Book 1 takes place at Gull Lake, Michigan. Bob Baker was raised at Gull Lake. While growing up Bob enjoyed many of the adventures Brody has in his books. Gull Lake is a fun paradise for any child with swimming, sailing, skiing, tubing, turtle hunting, and wildlife observation. Brody and Bob hope you enjoy sharing the fun we have.
