This is the second volume in a series of about 6 books of practical philosophy, meant to portray situations in life, as they are in real life, and then treat them accordingly. The title of the series is based on the "The Emperor's new clothes" tale, in which the king and all his subjects live a lie in order to protect themselves from the false belief that only the wise can see truth, while the rest cannot! As in the tale, each one of us has false beliefs and opinions, without us knowing they are false. The first volume posits that we do not know the secrets of nature and so our thoughts and opinions are far from reality. The knowledge we possess is so small that one could say we know nothing about the universe, despite the vast technological knowledge we have in so many science fields. To illustrate this concept we use the "Great Mosaic" model, painting the subject almost visually. Every person, on every subject, is missing pieces of information, which is why people's opinions are so different from one another, while each thinks their opinion is the right one. From that comes a general agreement that for each situation there will be different opinions, all of which are true. Practical philosophy shows that in most cases there isn't even one correct opinion. All our habits are based on false beliefs. Our assortments of habits and opinions are "the language of life." It is the language with which we communicate with the world around us that includes people, objects, and situations. This language is not only speech, but any way we relate to our surroundings, even in relation to task-oriented decisions. The language of life is, of course, individual and different for each person; there is a unique language of life for every living creature in the world, including plants. The language of life, determines the behavior of the individual in every situation in his life, expresses his character. For the one who knows the other's language of life, the practical advantage is in the ability to respond effectively in the relationship between them. Even if we do not get the proper reaction, by knowing another person's language of life, we can avoid the distress of confrontation, and retain our peace of mind. The second volume, which is the current one, focuses on thinking about behaviors that come from habits we acquire throughout our lives without examining them. Because of the mighty power of our habits, we have trouble getting rid of them. They were created in the distant past in order to avoid trouble or to make us feel better, but they are forever kept for the sake of personal security. With the concept of the "language of life" we will discover our mistakes and let go of our bad habit. We will find how you cannot always trust logic, and how it can lead one to ineffective thinking. We will also find links between thinking, memory, intuition, and talking. We will try to clarify unclear ideas, such as beauty, humor, and dreams. The third volume, which is not yet complete, will try to understand the purpose of life, holding that there is no purpose other than the continuation of life. This is caused by "the force of importance,"" which is responsible for the existence of every race and species. It is served by "the strong force," which is the survival instinct that exists in every individual. The survival instinct of "The strong force" works mostly through the ego and does everything that matters "to me," "for me," and "about me." In this book there are discussed several topics because each one examines the attitude of the ego toward many aspects of human behavior. It also shows how human communication, the "language of life," can help avoid harsh confrontations, and foster a calm soul. The fourth book will deal mostly with the "Important force" of the survival of the species, which is, bearing and raising the next generation. Reproduction demands a complex relationship between men and women that we will be examined in many situations
