Tara Lambert is sixteen and her life is a mess. Arguments over her wild behavior have driven her wealthy workaholic parents to divorce. Running a lucrative real estate business, they no longer have time for weekend sailing with Tara, her favorite activity. She rebels by turning to drugs and alcohol. At a private airfield in the Florida Everglades, Tara passes out, then recovers in time to see her parents' Learjet take off.
