In Fried Oyster Sandwich, Pastor Gross presents the alternative history that follows a Confederate victory in the war fought to achieve its independence. Two appendices describe the intervention of a Confederate expeditionary force on the imperial side in Mexico, and a list of the presidents of the Confederate States of America.
