My Grandmother's Letters From Amsterdam

A book composed of letters written over seventy years ago from a mother in Amsterdam to her daughter in London, via an intermediary in Geneva, with the inclusion of copies of the official Red Cross Cards.

Through this one sided correspondence we learn from the mother's letters the life and times of her family in London from the letters we do not see.

To bring a deeper understanding of life after the Nazi invasion there is a continuing account over time of the the increasing severe restrictions imposed by the occupying forces on the population of the Netherlands.
