Love Is/Isn't

What is love? What does it look like? These questions are often asked throughout our lifetime. We look for it everywhere and seek to fill that void in our own life. But how do you find it? Where is it? What does it look like and how does it behave? These are the questions that were the ongoing tug-of-war to Tamara's own struggles. What is love, and through the unveiling of her own confused mind, what love was not. Love is... Love isn't, is how the author was changed and using the scriptures in the Bible to describe a different aspect of growing in love. She had an idea of what she believed love was all about; how it's lived out and what it looked like in real life- her life, and her behavior and its effects in her life and the consequences of her behavior and attitude. Learning a new kind of love, Jesus' kind of love, changed her through much loss, pain and character refinement. In this book, she tells stories and some of the lessons she had to overcome to face her fears. She gained the courage to see herself and learned what she needed to do to shed the old person. This book is about the journey of a changed woman. She found herself stuck, not knowing what to do with herself and how to change it. With Jesus at the center of her life, she became a different person who learned what love really is and how to give it freely. Some people say they cannot change, that they are who they are and cannot change. "That is not true," she says, "with God all things are possible and I am living proof."
