Rules for a Meaningful Life

Everyone uses maxims, concepts, sayings, clich?s and axioms. Very few of us seem to understand the power these words can have in our lives. We often quote, but don't absorb. Through the course of our growing, experience and education we each develop "rules". Much of the time, these quotes are used as a reaction to what is happening in our lives at that moment. This book is about finding your personal rules; those sayings and concepts that resonate with you. These rules should be developed carefully adding meaning and depth. Your should memorize your rules and be reminders of what you don't want to be and more importantly what you do want to be. I have included a bit of history, some interesting rules, and a bit about social rules. Many of these have obscure reasons for existing, but these laws or rules came about for a reason. In the eBook version, I provided links. In the print version, you can find the URLs in the endnotes. I include my personal rules. You can't copy them; you must find your own. However, I include them with detailed examination and anecdotes so you can see how much they influence me. In the last section are exercises and tips that you can use to guide you to your Rules for a Meaningful Life.
