SA'IB: LIFE & POEMS Translation & Introduction by Paul Smith Mirza Muhammad Ali Tabrizi (1601-1676) who used the takhallus of Sa'ib was born in Tabriz. Sa'ib's ancestry goes back to Shams Tabrizi, Rumi's famous spiritual Master.
