The Eleventh Hour... sequel to 'Six Months to Live, ' my Cardiomyopathy Story of Mind over Medicine. This book explores my continuing story after its prequel and explains the trials and tribulations of some of the happenings when one decides to explore the uncharted waters of health and its research. Decisions have to be made and as a layman many of these decisions have to be made without professional knowledge. When one has a positive outlook the outcomes of those decisions are glossed over in spite of information one is given about risks. The attitude of "well others have survived these odds so I'm sure I will be all right," influence a balanced decision temporarily. Then negative influences take their toll and leave their psychological scars but through the value of one's positivity, eventually when light dawns, we make our eleventh hour decision to proceed or leave well alone. Weighing up the pros and cons leads us to either a flight or fight situation and whether to fight another day or not take our chances when the odds seems like Russian roulette.
