Vesper is a 17 year old who is tired of his surroundings, tired of being powerless, and tired of not being spontaneous. When he meets the beautiful Nunki and her friends, who seem to have powers that are beyond human, he instantly feels like he has found an answer to his problems and runs away with them for the summer. He quickly learns that they are using a book to become temporarily possessed by demons to gain their super human abilities. This is a story about love and addiction with a very dark twist and as the group starts to become submerged into their world they may be failing to see that there is a bigger, more sinister force at work.
