At Erin Miller's lodge in the Kiamichi Mountains, tensions build as autumn approaches and a gang of escaped convicts terrorizes the area. Friends and neighbors join together to help each other in the wake of violence and storms. As a government agency tries to round up survivors and imprison them in work camps, Erin and her companions are forced out of the lodge and into the role of rescuers. Note: Several characters are both conservatives and Christians. This book is clean, containing very little cussing. Kiamichi Storm deals with many issues, including abduction, trust, murder, self-defense, loyalty, sacrifice, and deception in the midst of a struggle to survive.
