Although Polly is only eighteen years old her position in the Home Office gives her a unique opportunity to secure information against the organisation seeking to gain power through the Civil Service. Despite being subjected to several brutal assaults, abductions and attempts on her life and despite Daniel being shot whilst having to rescue her on several occasions, they refuse to give up the fight to bring those responsible to justice. Will their love and devotion for each other prevail as the tension and suspense is raised to an exciting conclusion? Will the Soviets finally rid themselves of Polly by disposing of her at sea, can Daniel find out where they have taken her? And will they secure enough evidence against the communists to have them convicted?
