Masonic Cookbooks, Volume 1

This recipe collection includes the favorite meals the Brothers of Lodge #165 have enjoyed before meetings. The recipes are mostly "meat and potatoes" type meals that use only a few simple ingredients. Some of the recipes can be made ahead and baked as casseroles. All of the recipes can be doubled or tripled for larger groups. The Brothers asked for "healthy" meals, so these entree recipes do not contain any added sugar and use fresh ingredients. No trans-fats or synthetic fillers are used. The recipes are salt-to-taste to keep the sodium low. The desserts of course do contain sugar. Some lighter dessert options are also included.
