The Pilgrimage Of Divorce: An Awakening To Restoration

Pilgrims are warriors and no pilgrimage comes without having the choice to look back on the life that once was. Most would never get married if they knew divorce was going to be part of their pilgrimage. I use to think God asked me to give Him a year to write so in the end He would provide some miraculous beautiful man for my life. How shallow of me to think that's all God had in store for my soul. As time went on through the year of writing, much awakening unfolded when He got me in tune with my strongholds, the breaking of my will, and educating me on His pursuit and goodness for His broken and lonely children. He knew my heart and He knew I would fail. But in my weakness He was strong! He also knew I would not go back to old ways and set up camp. The purpose of this book is to revive broken souls into an awakening of restoration to lead them to a life of courage, freedom, and peace. This is about my pilgrimage, but ultimately about the glory the Lord deserved, daily walking in blind obedience, waiting to let the Lord renew my strength, breaking my will, and falling madly in love with my first love--the King, the Creator, Sustainer, Comforter, and Husband. I want women to know they are not alone. I want them to regain themselves through the strength of Christ and come out more brave and more beautiful. Courage became my greatest weapon as God brought me to a place of desperate hunger on purpose; to test my deceitful heart and reveal where I always needed Him most.
