While he didn't share his innermost feelings with many people, he kept written journals for over forty-five years. Discovered in his belongings after Tam left us on January 2, 2014, these journals reveal a complex, conflicted man who only wanted to love and be loved. He longed for stability, a family, friendship, and a life of living in harmony with the natural world and all in it.
