Hidden Fires

When six-year-old Emelia Obregon is buried alive under the rubble of her home after a devastating earthquake, she is left orphaned and emotionally scarred. As an adult she finds it difficult to fully love her husband and his son, Justin. When her husband dies suddenly, Justin acts out with drugs and hanga around with a gang. Together they forge an alliance which they hope will resolve both their situations. But Justin's criminal activities threaten the future Nick and Emelia hope to create.
