You taste like sunlight. Why was I so surprised to see those words? I drink the sunrise every morning And bathe in the sunset every night. I'm on fire with my heart and alight With crazy love. The insane kind. The type of love that gives and gives and gives And never stops in spite of Impending closings. I've also learned my lesson. I can't shine on people who get too burnt. They despise and curse your name because you came and you saw and you gave something They couldn't receive at that time. But I will shine on those who soak it up, Who share with me their dark parts so we can heal Together. "You taste like sunlight." Oh, honey, I know.
