I'M Drivin' Here!

If you've never ridden on a school bus full of noisy, mischievous children, you haven't lived, says the author, who drove school buses for 25 years. Here she tells stories of her experiences and those of some of the children. This is an eye-opening collection of stories that will provide you with increased admiration for the brave souls who carry your children to and from school. But the school districts didn't stop there. These stories tell of what happened when her district extended bus service to athletes, extracurricular activities, and to special needs children. You may ask, who is in charge when the bus is in operation? Why, the captain, of course - the courageous, patient, understanding, and capable bus driver! When you read this account of a bus driver who's been there, your regard for these special people will rise as high as the noise in a normal school bus.
