Amanda Imagines Amazing Medallions is the first of a collection of meditative coloring books planned for release thru RainDropSpot.com (RDS)- a digital platform for supporting creativity and custom designing. Each page features a design on one side with a quote for meditation displayed on the opposite side in a light gray font. This is intended to diminish the effects of bleed thru as well as let artists remove pages (e.g. for framing, etc.) without sacrificing another design. Ruled-sections beneath quotes are provided for journaling or reflection. Un-colored versions of the images on the cover and the back of the book are included on the first three pages. Colored pencils are recommended, but markers, gel pens and other coloring tools might also work well. A few blank pages are set aside near the front of the book to allow artists to test how their tools will work with the type of paper used in this edition. This book features the work of RDS artist Nic Lee, a multi-disciplinary creative based in northern Virginia.
