This book is titled If Our Gospel Be Hidden, It is Hidden to Those That are Lost because there are so many deceptions being spread by crafty deceivers causing the whole world to run straight to destruction as sheep to the slaughter. As a result, the Word of God remains hidden in dishonesty and darkness, unless the knowledge of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine out of darkness (man's vain misconceptions of God's Word) by manifesting the truth to all mankind. How can we begin to understand the truth? How else will we know without a doubt that we are standing on a firm foundation of Christ? My brothers and sisters, this book was not written to offend anyone, but it does expose how we have unknowingly put tradition [and what we are accustomed to doing] before truth. This book was written to empower you with the choice of truth unto eternal life! The deception is real today, whether is it in the form of prosperity teachings, gain is godliness, power of your faith, sowing a seed and reaping a harvest, or in just how to be a good Christian. We have to expose the lies and deceptions so that we are able to walk in truth and liberty. So by writing this book, my only purpose is to help you to understand the Word of God for yourselves, so that you can "choose ye this day whom ye will serve!"(Jos 24:15).
