The Love Myth

Tensions abound in Paradise where Rubenesque Williamette Yeager is beset by conflicts as imposing as the lava-rock island on which she's living. Her costume-shop business in Maui's upscale Plumeria Mall is successful, yet her true gratification is obtained only when she portrays Santa Claus, a myth created of love. "Our liabilities become our assets when used to help others," is her theme. But menacing phone threats and mysterious "accidents" are jeopardizing that position, as well as her life. Although, her yearnings for Tillio are tempered by the supposition that she is the real subject of his investigation. Hawaii's loving vibes and harmony of life-force, called the "Aloha Spirit," are challenged by the plus-sized conviction that one is "too-something" for love.
