We live in a highly complex and competitive world. It is a world, that rewards winners and punishes losers. It is a world, within which enough is never enough, and the failure to measure up and to meet the expectations of others is just around the corner. It is a world, that seems to have been designed to create anxiety and doubt. Faith, in a loving forgiving God, can provide the support and the strength we need to cope with the challenges we face. Ironically, when we need faith in God the most, our advances in science seem, at least on the surface, to undermine our faith. This book shares the author's forty-year struggle to bridge the gap between science and faith, and to bring the two into a mutually supportive relationship.
