This book is available at Amazon.com Poems by Carrie Hollinger Many of her poems were tied to the events happening in her life and about the people she loved. Her son, John, served in World War II. He was in Italy at the battle of the Abbey; others were about her mother and father, the town and people of Port Norris, and of course her son, Warrington. Her poems were published by the Philadelphia and local newspapers. Some under her pen name, Anne Campbell. I never had the pleasure of knowing my Grandmother and remember very little of my Grandfather. It is my hope, by publishing her poetry, to have a glimpse and understanding of the kind women who raised my father, and thru him, see her influence in my life. May we never forget the family of our past as they influence who we are today.
