Mystery Of Thunder Quake Gold

A short fast paced mystery about a son seeking to prove his late father's theories and getting lost in California gold country and being rescued by an Indian Shaman. Along the way much is learned about gold, lightning, the Konkow Indian tribe and about the California gold rush. The story begins with a 35 year old school teacher finding himself lost in a tunnel. He has no recollections about how he got inside the tunnel. Nor does he know how to get out of the tunnel. He cannot remember if he has friends there to help him. As he painfully makes his way down a rock cluttered path inside the tunnel, slowly his memory returns so that in a series of flash backs he does eventually recall the death of his father, his father's journal and its mysterious writings, and his airplane trips from his home in Arkansas to Montana and to several locations in California. By the end the reader is asking himself: "could this be true, could mother nature's elements actually be harnessed so as to re-populate places in the earth with new gold?
