Meet Armani, who everyone knows as Mani for short. Growing up in the middle-class area of Atlanta, Mani and her three best friends, Symone, Shay and Zak, had the lives every teenage girl would love. With dreams of becoming successful, Mani was going places. But like any other teenage girl, Mani was head over heels in love with Trey Armstrong. Trey was laid back and didn't like much attention, but he got it. He was so handsome and every girl wanted him. When Trey up and moved away in the eleventh grade, Mani was crushed because she really liked him. After graduation, Mani and Symone went off to WVU to attend college. After graduating from WVU, the girls return to their hometown as Mani has hopes of landing a position at a major accounting agency in Atlanta. As she settles into her new place, she runs into her neighbor, none other than Trey. Trey is definitely not the Trey Mani remembered. He is a very attractive dude, but Mani is no longer interested. She's too focused on her dream and that's becoming a successful accountant for athletes. Zakiyah Williams is the best friend of Armani. Zak is the loud, outspoken friend, but she was smart. Zak has the potential to be one of Atlanta's best hairstylists. She was focused but her love life was a challenge. She was in love with Supreme, one of Trey's best friends. Zak and Supreme become good friends, but they're also sleeping together. That is, until his on and off again girlfriend, Keysha, becomes pregnant. Things between Supreme and Zak begin to fall apart. A sudden change of events occurs, leaving them both thinking "what if". Follow this group of friends on their journey we call life. Will this group remain just friends?
