This book depicts my early upbringing as a Lasallian lad, growing up on the East Coast with St. Stephen's Primary and St. Patrick's School before embarking on my tertiary education at Catholic Junior College and the National University of Singapore. It also highlights my dual-tracked career as a self-taught advertising and marketing practitioner in the business marketing sphere and in academia. I was formally trained as an educator at the National Institute of Education at NTU, though I have been a teacher and lecturer in local schools and polytechnics since my A-level days. Last but not least, it showed how SpinalAVM retired me three years ago at 55 years old after my final teaching stint in Cambodia with SCIA, my subsequent rehabilitation in hospitals, and a Chinatown Care Home before returning to mainstream life as a volunteer with an Anglican Seniors Centre (Peace Connect @ B8).
