Dale Noble was born in the late 1950s into a male oriented, rural community where she struggles to understand why the expectations for boys are different from those for girls. Because of several life experiences including injury and loss, she finally follows her unique talent and becomes a professional gambler. In her later years, during a cross country trip home for a family reunion, she is involved in an accident. This work's experimental format unfolds in a sequence of segmented events as her life begins to flash before her eyes during the resulting near death experience, at the end of which she is asked to choose between life and death.
